Josie Ludwig, Founder & Managing Director

Josie is an experienced Bookkeeper, Management Accountant and cloud accounting go-to-guru. She is a Registered BAS Agent with expertise and experience in complicated and day-to-day accounting, corporate structures and GST. Josie has assembled a bookkeeping team that really cares and proactively supports Solpoint clients to overcome hurdles and make the most of business opportunities. When she visits your office you can also pick her brain for interior design ideas.

Ivy Chen, Director & Partner

Ivy is a CPA Accountant with 10+ years’ experience. She’s got an eagle eye for cashflow management, and is renowned for identifying issues, troubleshooting problems and guiding clients to better results. It’s Ivy who oversees accounting outcomes for clients and keeps the Solpoint workflow ticking along.

Chris Ludwig, Operations Manager

Chris has bookkeeping and advanced payroll qualifications, plus over five years’ experience. So he’s perfect as our Operations Manager and Payroll Officer. He really is quite versatile. In addition to handling accounts and books, Chris is our resident IT guru. He’s super organised so he keeps the Solpoint crew in line, online and connected to you.

Tung Nyugen, Accountant

We like to think of Tung as our ‘can-do’ guy. He is a degree qualified accountant who hails from Vietnam, so he can do the numbers in a couple of languages. Tung is extraordinarily quick to learn and take on a range of tasks that can support your compliance and business bottom line.

Lesa Smith, Accounts Receivable / Collections

For over 10 years Lesa has been supporting clients’ cashflow by handling receivables with a welcoming but firm approach. Her attention to detail and lovely manner makes her highly effective at collecting what you’re owed, to get your money in the bank and keep your business moving.

Fariha Nahas, Payables Officer

Fariha was such a quick learner and valuable intern that we just knew we had to make her a part of the Solpoint team. Since completing her Cert IV in bookkeeping and Bachelor of Business Administration she’s worked hard to coordinate our clients’ payments to suppliers. Fariha speaks Bengali (Indian).

Bec Drake, Bookkeeper

Bec is a great example of our commitment to technology. After working with Solpoint for a year or so she relocated to Switzerland, where she currently works remotely for us. This means our clients can continue benefit from her five years’ experience, Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and high attention to detail. You can meet Bec in person when she moves back to Melbourne early 2017.

Kate Looker, Bookkeeper

Kate is one of our most experienced bookkeepers with qualifications and over 15 years of hands-on expertise. Kate is a country dweller who has also been running her own farm for many years. She comes to town regularly to support Solpoint clients. You’ll find that she’s a down to earth, practical and funny lady with a sly wit.

Madalene Taylor, Administration Assistant

With her bubbly personality Madalene is a great point of contact for our clients. She also supports the Solpoint team to focus on the important work we do for you. Bookkeeping presents us with a decent pile of incoming paperwork and emails, and Madalene is the savvy worker who takes the initiative to keep things organised and running smoothly.
